About three and a half years ago, the NDP surprised many in Alberta and across the country by winning a majority government in a province that had never elected the NDP and had been governed by the Progressive Conservative Party for 44 years.

With about six months to go before the start of the next provincial election in Alberta, we surveyed 800 Albertans at the end of October and asked them to share their views on politics in the province.

Here’s what we found:

THE UNITED CONSERVATIVE PARTY LEADS BY 15 AMONG COMMITTED VOTERS BUT 26% OF ALBERTANS SAY THEY ARE UNDECIDED.

The NDP got in really only because of the Conservatives being a lot like the GOPe in the United States. Even when the late Ralph Klein cleaned up the fiscal mess in that province, a lot of establishment Red Tory types did not like that he did that and how he did (standing up to the teachers’ unions, etc).

Other than in the (R)Edmonton region, the United Conservative Party of Alberta leads by a large margin over the NDP and all other political parties. By no later than May 31, 2019, the commies should be tossed out of power in Alberta.

We can only hope that Dustbunny Turd-owe continues to fake-up in front of Canadians so that on Monday, October 21, 2019, he gets tossed out of power in d’Ottawa.

There are no uncommitted voters... They are merely not stating who they support. The Tories will win big time in Alberta and the people can’t wait to vote them out of office.

Drilling down in this, so many urban “educated” types are NDP.

Mirrors the USA in regards that they consider themselves intellectually elite whilst idly sitting in mum and dad's rec room with a degree in womyn’s studies.

The NDP Government only won because of the conservatives in the Province were divided. There were guaranteed to tick off enough Albertans to get tossed out in 2019.

The only question is how badly they will lose.

Albertan conservatism is a myth then? Seems like they are getting comfortable with the NDP.
