I recall reading prior to election day that the money being spent by anti-gun groups on candidates was not used to air gun control ads but instead was spent to bolster them in other areas like health care, etc. I don’t think there has been an overwhelming shift in how gun control will play out in future elections based on the latest results. I suspect the House will pass some sort of background check bill but will it come up in the Senate and be able to muster 60 votes?
No anti-gun ads here. It was mostly making health care affordable, the ore-existing conditions crap, and fully funding everything. Still, people are dumb. When has government made anything cost less?
