Mr. Cuomo...What that shooter did was beyond belief because he did not hide his hate for those victims behind words. He just walked in unnoticed and began to shoot. No one knows what his motivation really was, but, from reports, it is entirely possible that even pain medication following a motorcycle accident could have had a role in that. So, in God’s eyes, who is worse, that shooter, or folks like you on CNN who pseudo murder President Trump 24/7, day after day, an attempt which goes back to before his was elected to the Presidency. Might I add that your hatred extends to his supporters, as well. Regarding thought and prayers..That is about all most of us can do when we hear and know of the suffering of others with whom we are not acquainted. You may not understand it, but “thoughts and prayers,” are powerful spiritual tools beyond the material that have the force to comfort, sustain and to give strength to the suffering, not in reserve, but as it is needed. It is not guns, knives, beatings or even war which is our enemy, Mr. Cuomo. It is always man’s inhumanity to man (women, likewise), which has it’s genesis in the envy, jealousy and lust for power over others in the human heart. The actual murders are visible and known, but the real evils are often covered in the darkness where they cannot be exposed until they have destroyed the good they hate. How about those babies murdered on a daily basis for money and gain, Mr. Cuomo? It is a good thing that I am not God.

I found it interesting though that the mother of the young man who survived the Las Vegas massacre and was subsequently murdered at this shooting stated she “prays” that she receives no more thoughts and prayers postings ~~~. She went on with a pro gun control statement tacked on the end. Anyway, the woman was obviously distraught and didn’t realize her anti prayer comment was a prayer within itself. Hope she eventually finds peace.

That is what I thought. I’m pushing 70 and I don’t remember the phrase being in common usage. In fact when I first heard it I thought it’s PC for “in our prayers”.

The phrase “Thoughts and prayers” is (imho) an affront to prayer. It’s a “cop out”. Anyone who really means to “pray” for whomever they say that phrase to, shouldn’t be using it! Just say “I’ll pray for you.” or “You’ll be in my prayers” or “I’ll keep you in my prayers”.
Likewise people who never darkened the doorway of a church have no right to use such a phrase. Even those who occasionally “darken the doorway of a church” (Christmas and Easter), and don’t pray are hypocrites using that phrase. More accurately it should be “thought or prayers”.
So it’s a PC phrase (I don’t care about it’s origin, but how it is used today, and by whom), which is for the ungodly to be able to appear Godly.
So, like all other Liberal PC verbiage, Conservatives and Christians should not use their lingo.
Just wait until the Muslims have sufficient numbers in this country to do their planned attacks.
You are absolutely correct. The question becomes, how do Christians and conservatives gain/wrest control over media and our schools?
I believe in many instances Christians and conservatives are content letting liberals run the show, i.e., our lack of interest in running for school boards; our seeming inability or unwillingness to counter: the ACLU, liberal activist courts, liberal monopolies, etc.
What will it take, what actions are necessary - for Christians and conservatives to become the head and not the tail in our nation?
We need leaders, organization and a plan to defeat liberals. The republican party would seem to be the natural choice for meeting this need but unlike its enemy, it lacks the ability or willingness to attack the enemy's juggler.
If we're going to regain power in certain areas of our society, a great start would be an AG that is no respecter of persons and will put Dem criminals in jail. Breaking up liberal monopolies would be another great act by a pro-Constitution & conserviation AG.

Good points. But I have over seven generations of observation on this earth, and I, very unfortunately, see America as one of those slower creatures over in places like Africa being run down to weariness to death by a jaguar or lion. We haven't much of a chance. We are too weak and broken.
