No recount ever, anywhere, in history has overturned a lead of that magnitude.

In Arizona McSally had a 17k lead and is now 10k down to Enema. I smell a rat in the wood pile.

That’s a different situation. That’s not a recount. That’s vote by mail ballots that are still being sifted through.

What we have in Florida is essentially (baring overseas and military votes) the final vote count.

There are still 250-300K votes to be counted in Arizona.

The Democrats have managed to turn 500-1000 votes in previous hand recounts. 12.5K is a bridge too far.

Unless they recount 12 times. How many times did Franken demand recounts until he won? LOL!

I predicted 12-14k for Scott when it was all said and done.

The key was knowing how many ballots Broward actually had when they were telling everyone that they didn’t know.

They were lying. Deliberately. Their VRS tracked the number of ballots +-500 the entire time.

The variable that I didn’t have was Palm Beach, because they don’t use VRS.

But the Franken theft (and that was an outright theft) involved a margin of hundreds of votes, not 12.5K

Exactly. “Gutter-Snipe(s)” needs to be put away for a long time.

In 2004 it took three recounts for Democrat Christine Gregoire to beat Republican Dino Rossi by just 129 votes after two recounts of more than 2.8 million ballots cast. Rossi won both of the initial tallies. But you are right, in that instance the Democrats had already cheated enough by election night to bring it much closer than the Florida races are now.

All counties have completely reported everything except overseas and military ballots.

Broward will hold its military vote totals until they get the overseas ballots from ISIS.

Shifting 12.5K would be so brazen, the Senate would be absolutely justified in refusing to seat Nelson.

There are two hail mary passes that the Nelson theft team is pursuing.

1st. They are going to try to convince a Florida Judge to ignore the law and to allow ballots with mismatched signatures to count. (That hearing is on Wednesday.)

2nd. In Broward County, there was an undervote in the Senate race. Scott got about 10K less votes county wide than Desantis and Nelson got about 10K less votes than Gillum.

People are thinking it was due to stupid voters and ballot design.

In Broward, they tucked the Senate race in the bottom left of the ballot:

There were a lot of people that said they missed it.

Their argument would be that if they voted for Democrats elsewhere on the ballot, that we should magically count these votes for Nelson. (They made that argument in Minnesota and Washington.)

However, the fact that the error is distributed almost evenly between Scott and Nelson doesn’t give much hope to the Rats here.

Very well done; along with you and Ravi, there are two posters here who consistently look at provable voting data; not that scum like the Broward election officials wouldn’t try to change it, but actual data like this can pin them down. Not only is Scott’s vote lead greater than in past statewide recounts, but he is in the lead, which psychologically makes it much tougher for Prune Nelson and his legion of overpaid out of state lawyers to prevail by overturning election night results. They will make mischief, but I doubt they will prevail. So the Senate will be 53-47, not great but a lot better than 51-49 when we had to depend on the whims of a revengeful, bitter McCain, and a backstabbing Murkowski. This should keep the Senate in the party until at least 2022; given the fact that New York’s senator from Alabama, Dowd, is certain to lose if the Alabama Rs pick someone who is stable and who doesn’t go to Army-Navy games instead of campaigning on the weekend before the election.

Even these numbers are Shenanigans. Clearly. Why do all these races want a recount so badly? Answer: they plan on cheating and they needed more time

53-47 would insulate the Senate from Romney, Collins and MooCowski. 53 is a key number. There aren’t many others in the Senate that would jump on Judicial nominations.

I also fully expect the Rats to pull some sort of Kavanaugh/Moore type fiasco in the Mississippi runoff to somehow try to swing that seat back to them, but Hyde-Smith is a woman, so that will make it much more difficult for them.

Thank you so much, TG, for for all your excellent sleuthing. I’m going to follow your posts at election time.

Assuming nothing odd happens during the recount, do you think this election is over despite the outstanding overseas and military ballots?

thanks. oh duh me - when in doubt, RTFM. I decided to look at the timeline to see who does what to whom and when..

looks like Senate and Comm of Agri races will go to a manual recount.
should the the un-counted overseas and military be troubling ?

thanks again

It’s never “over” until it’s “over.” But the fat lady is warming up on this one. There would have to be systemic and blatant shenanigans at an unprecedented level to overturn this result.

The Rats are certainly going to try, but would take virtually every hail mary argument going their way plus some additional shady behavior.
