The state of Florida, and therefore the nation, is forced to wait for the verdict of three statewide races thanks to the negligence of Palm Beach and Broward County election officials Susan Bucher and Brenda Snipes. Each county submitted their unofficial election results on Saturday after days of confusion, misplaced ballots, and questionable counting methods but the statewide process will continue due to the close margin of error in Florida's Governor, Senate, and Florida Agriculture Commissioner races.
Now, Florida's Secretary of State has officially ordered a statewide recount.

ABC News Local 10 explains why these races will now go to a recount:
Florida law requires a machine recount when the leading candidate’s margin is 0.5 percentage points or less, and a hand recount if it’s 0.25 or less.
- As of noon Saturday, Republican gubernatorial nominee Ron DeSantis had a slight lead against his Democratic rival, Andrew Gillum by 33,684 votes, a margin of .41 percentage points.
- In the Senate race, Republican Gov. Rick Scott was ahead of Democrat Sen. Bill Nelson by 12,562 votes, a margin of .15 percentage points.
- In the race for Florida Agriculture Commissioner, Democrat Nikki Fried was leading Republican rival Matt Caldwell by 5,326 votes, a margin of 0.06 percentage points.
As Matt has reported, both Broward County and Palm Beach County have been plagued by incompetence, peculiarities, and even misplaced provisional ballots which could have a major impact on all three races. Snipes, a long time election official with a poor track record of doing her job, has abdicated any responsibility for failing to properly count her county's votes. Bucher has characterized accusations of mismanagement and voter fraud as questionably racist.
In what many believe is not a coincidental occurrence, the ballots that have been turned in after election day are seemingly shifting the races towards Democratic candidates. Both DeSantis and Scott have pledged to fight in courts any apparent fraud as votes are counted.
So how do they sort out the fraudulent ballots in Broward and Palm beach from the real ones. They probably won’t which guarantees the Democrats win win those elections now. Seems to me the DOJ should be heading down there to see what’s going on.
Back in February, Melowese Richardson admitted in a TV interview that she voted for Barack Obama twice — by absentee and in-person ballot. At the time, she denied any voter fraud and claimed that she was concerned her ballot wouldn’t be counted. “Yes I voted twice. I, after registering thousands and thousands of people, certainly wanted my vote to count, so I voted. I voted at the polls.” But it turned that there was a lot more to the story according to authorities including several other allegedly bogus absentee ballots. “… Richardson… pleaded no contest to four counts of illegal voting — including voting three times for a relative who has been in a coma since 2003 — in exchange for prosecutors dropping four other illegal voting charges. Common Pleas Court Judge Robert Ruehlman immediately convicted her, making her a felon. A poll worker from 1998 until being fired this year, Richardson admitted she voted illegally in the 2008, 2011 and 2012 elections.” Richardson’s case was part of an investigation in Hamilton County, Ohio, over illegal voting which resulted in several other convictions. She is due back in court on July 9 for sentencing and could

Correct, Thge same people in Broward and Palm Beach will be doing the counting so don’t expect a different out come. The FL sec of State are the DOJ since this is a federal election needs to come in and run the recount not the sewer that created this.
These are huge leads.....could only be diminished by Brenda Snipes criminal activities.

Rush is right: The delay was not because they were slow counting votes. They were manufacturing votes.
They are not block heads or pinheads

Now they have their prepared and illegitimate ballots mixed in, expect the vote count to be drastically different.
Doesn’t this look like the events of the Bush/Gore contest back in the year 2000. Will we have a Democrat House? It seemed we would, but now there’s a question about it.
In this case, I’d urge people not to get all transfixed with the blow by blow about it. In the end, all the transfixing just got our minds all buzzed up and didn’t change the ultimate outcome. Prayer, on the time scale of waiting on God, would seem to be far more apropos. Maybe the Democrat House will be averted — maybe it will happen but still be part of a longer term plan of the Lord to bring blessing to His children (as, perhaps, the nation sees by contrast what squalling brats take the House over).
I think what the machine count does is see if the number of ballots matches the number of people who signed in at the polls.
It is not negligence; it is a deliberate and brazen attempt to steal an election. These people - Bucher and Snipes and their ilk - will stop at nothing to keep their party in power. They should be in chains.
