Gillum, Nelson Lawyers Fight To Include Non-Citizen's Vote In Florida
Daily Caller ^ | November 10, 2018 | Luke Rosiak

Posted on 11/10/2018 2:01:42 PM PST by EdnaMode

Lawyers for Florida Democratic candidates Andrew Gillum and Bill Nelson both fought to prevent a non-citizen’s vote from being excluded Friday night, according to a transcript of a Palm Beach County Canvassing Board proceeding obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Michael Barnett, chairman of the Palm Beach Republican Party, told TheDCNF that the county’s canvassing board was going through provisional ballots and quickly deciding whether to allow or disallow each. This exchange is of the first non-citizen’s vote they encountered. “We had a court reporter that we hired to sit in the proceedings, which are public,” he said.

The vote was disallowed despite the objections of the lawyers because two of the three members of the canvassing board ruled that it was an impermissible vote, he said.

Marc Elias, a lawyer for Nelson, told TheDCNF: “The lawyer who was present was not someone we had authorized to make such an objection. Non-citizens cannot vote in U.S. elections.”

He did not explain how the lawyer, Mr. Scarola, came to be representing Nelson’s interests in Palm Beach.

Barry Richard, a lawyer for Gillum, did not immediately return a request for comment.

The provisional ballots are being counted as the governor’s and Senate race in Florida appear to be within the thresholds requiring a recount. Gillum is running against Rep. Ron DeSantis for governor, while current Florida governor Rick Scott is challenging Nelson for Senate.

Palm Beach County and Broward County have been the sites of significant irregularities. (RELATED: Florida Elections Might Be In The Hands Of County Election Chief Who Has Already Violated The Law)

Elias is a powerhouse election lawyer who worked for the Democratic National Committee and hired Fusion GPS, which fed the FBI a “dossier” about Trump and Russia. He also litigated the recount that led to Al Franken defeating Norm Coleman for a Minnesota Senate seat.

And if any voted or attempted to vote, they should be charged and allowed to self-deport, else be prosecuted, jailed, then deported.

Non citizens are being allowed to vote in more and more places. They should never be allowed to vote even if it is just for local positions. They will grow in number then vote to change that to state wide then country wide. Like a virus it grows. Want proof? Just look at California.

Democrats are emboldened & up front in our faces with their theft of political offices by subterfuge.

They have been since Obama took office. This isn't going to get better. Americans are furious, but our politicians are doing nothing. They're complicit, IMO.

We have proof now that non-citizens are voting in federal elections. We should audit the vote nationwide (I know it’s expensive, but so is having your country stolen). Prosecute every non-citizen who voted. If convicted, send them to prison and deport them when they get out. No exceptions.

They are attorneys. Complaining that they are acting like attorneys will not gain is much.

This is a standard objection to preserve future rights. If they do not object then, then they could not challenge this issue later.

Say that they go out and research this one vote and find out that the Board lady was incorrect, that the person is a citizen. Then they could mount a challenge.

So they are merely preserving a ‘future right’ however remote.

This does not extend to them being in favor of illegal citizens voting. It just makes them (evil, creepy, toxic) lawyers.

We have been joking for some years now about how this is why democrats are all for mass illegal immigration. American-born citizens don't vote for them enough any longer, so they have to import their voter base.

This would seem to indicate that's more than a joke. Unless we let this stand. Then the joke is on us.

Non-citizens are not approved to vote.

Only citizens.

Can't wrap my head around all those negatives.

I can, however, identify the real negatives as GILLUM and NELSON.

We were also told it was bad when foreigners interfere in our elections. I believe we indicted several of them.

Did someone report this criminal to ICE and the DOJ?

My guess is that Trump cleaned up a lot of the voter fraud that was everywhere and helped keep dems in office. Now they have to get nasty and illegal inpublic, something they are not used to doing.
Daylight usually turns them to dust.
