Great point. I think they would have to try to blame it on “badly calibrated machines” but it wouldn’t explain why the error was evenly distributed between Scott and Nelson the first time and not the second time.

It doesn't matter what anyone blames it on.
The machine recount will be the final official count unless it leads to a hand recount.

And even with a hand recount the findings won't be overturned on an analysis of voting anomalies, vote distribution, undervotes, split tickets, etc.

So any undervotes altered by Snipes will fly through and be counted as legit.

Snipes isn't stupid or incompetent.

She has been doing this job for about 15 years and knows every loophole and possible way around the law.
