I think Lindsey Graham just sees a political opportunity.

I think he believes Trump may falter because of age or scandal, and he - Graham - is pretending to be a Conservative so he can win the GOP Primary.

As to political potential, I agree with you.

I saw a film (maybe on 60 Minutes?) of Graham interacting with his constituents, and Graham works a crowd as well as Bill Clinton, and in my opinion, Bill Clinton on the campaign trail was the greatest politician in my lifetime.

Like every other pubbie on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Graham was too frightened to cross examine the obviously lying twit Christine Ballsey Ford.

Governor Rick Scott likewise feared feminist/black backlash and did not fire Broward supervisor of elections Brenda Snipes in 2016.

Thanks to the 17th Amendment the Senate is incapable of performing its Constitutional duties. Scott will fit right in.

“(and, for now, Senator-elect)”

Why does the right always adopt the left’s narrative. Scott is the Senator-elect. The left is in the process of trying to overturn the election result and steal the election through voter fraud. It is disgraceful, and the right is entirely to “aww shucks” about the entire situation. They act as if they just expect the Democrats to steal it and that there is nothing they can do to stop it. It’s infuriating.

Btw, why do all these ridiculous, lax voter laws exist? I understand how they got through in CA (curing the vote anyone???) but why do all these vote fraud enabling measures exist in FL?

[They’re never held accountable, they ignore subpoenas, ignore election reporting deadlines, constantly defraud the US every election, nothing ever happens. Why wouldn’t they keep it up?]

They just become more and more emboldened in their voter fraud and election stealing. Republicans just continue to sit by and let it happen.

Apparently past tense and future tense are forms of English beyond your abilities.
