Republican Senator Cory Gardner of Colorado has vowed that special counsel Robert Mueller will "not be stopped" in his investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election and possible collusion between Moscow and President Donald Trump's campaign team.

Gardner is right. Mueller won't be stopped.
President Trump has no interest in stopping him.
Mueller can spend the rest of his life investigating this nonsense if he wants. In fact, the GOP loss of the House gives the Trump administration a huge incentive to just leave Mueller alone. He can't be called to testify before a House committee if there's always an "ongoing investigation that can't be discussed in public" out there.

In fact, the GOP loss of the House gives the Trump administration a huge incentive to just leave Mueller alone. Honestly, I think the Democrats were hoping Trump would shut it down! Mueller doesn't seem to be finding much collusion and shutting him down would give the Democrats an opportunity to play the obstruction card.
