Yes. It’s hard to say though. It’s possible he’d have been removed from office by now had he not maintained some degree of GOPe support in those first months. In 2019 it will matter much less.
Infesting his admin by putting them in key positions so they could effectively undermine him was no way to maximize his position.
He’s what we’ve got and more than we’ve had for decades and more than anyone else who has managed to step forward to fill those shoes.
And yes, it is amazing what insights and advances he’s already offered us.
