And yes, it is legal. Until you’re convicted of a crime, you still have the right to vote. It wasn’t clear whether Cruz had actually voted, but the possibility was there.

Do we blame the ComDems for registering convicts? He is know to have committed the acts of murder, but is not yet convicted.

Now, Recently I read that in Florida they recently restored the right to vote to all the convicted felons. Because the ComDems needed the votes in this election?

This is why we should not let prisoners and felons vote.

Although Cruz has not been convicted of the crime, I’m not even a little bit surprised that the Democrats idea of allowing felons to vote backfired on them so quickly and so effectively.
It really sucks when your own insane ideas hit so close to home.

Actually that was Amendment 4 to the Florida Constitution that was voted on in the midterm elections.

First, Dana Loesch is an idiot if she is shocked that non-convicted prisoners could vote......

That alone should have the NRA remove her from a spokesperson position.....

Not to mention she is a Never Trumper.......maybe she needs some more Beet supplements....

Second, the concept that once a felon has served their time and is placed back in society, that some of their rights are restored is not necessarily a bad concept....

CHILL! While we may find it abhorent that the "Alleged Shooter" was allowed to register to vote..., he is still presumed to be innocent untile found otherwise and there is no legal impediment to his registering to vote! The sad fact is that he didn't off himself first!

A lot of conservatives voted for felons to vote as well. Many commercials and tv appearances as well as radio interviews from Christian folks saying how great they are now. Glenn Beck has a different Christian on every day on his morning radio show. I was touched but voted no anyway because I thought more democrats would benefit even though a good number are good Christians. Not enough to sway me to vote yes.
