I hate to say it but the Left is more committed than we are and the politicians they elect PLAY TO WIN. They are aggressive and determined in ways that we are not. Therein lies our key weakness. We turn the other cheek too much.
If we want to win and prevail, we’re going to have to learn to go on offense and never back down. Trump is doing just that, and so did Reagan. That’s why they were winners. Unfortunately, the mindset ingrained into the GOP is one of accommodation, compromise, and worst of all, fear of criticism.
GOP voters have some serious soul searching to do. And they need to elect strong, principled, and results oriented people who will appeal to independents. We are headed for political extinction if we don’t change our ways.
The winner will be the person who screams "Saul Alinsky you ignominious bastard I read your book!"
Well Said.
And we pretend we won when clearly we lost, there is no good side to this insulting defeat that the Ryan House gave us.
Positive thoughts is what got us here. I was positive a cardboard cutout could beat Obama's 2nd term, our guy was crushed. That should have been a wake up instead wee called it a victory.
I doubted Trump could be hard enough when he let some cr@p judge in Hawaii shut him down. He has the authority alone to shut down all immigration, so do it no one else can. He alone can close the border to all traffic so close it. Get rid off all the swamp dwellers in your cabinet including your daughter.
