That’s my point. In past generations a lot of younger people were somewhat liberal. I was more libertarian than liberal, but when we got married, had kids, bought houses, started careers we “grew up”. We had things worth preserving which made us more conservative. This isn’t happening with the young people I know. They acquire all the trappings of adulthood, but stay liberal and somewhat immature, which seem to go together. I built my first house at 27. Got married at 21. Now parents are expected to pay for a “child’s” insurance until they’re 26. It doesn’t bode well for the country to have a generation that refuses to grow up.
Re today...you're right; sadly.
