I think this election was big for the millennials because of Bernie Sanders and the metoo movement. Both will not be as much of a factor in 2020 hopefully. Bernie is old and #metoo will fade out because it is so extreme. I think the kids will come back around. Millennials seem to just believe everything and really seem to love a perceived personality like Beto.

I’m not sure about that. Champaign County, Illinois for the last 70 years or so has had mostly Republicans as County clerks, sheriffs, most county offices. This year we made it very easy for the U of I students to vote in the local elections. The democrats recognized this and told them to vote for them to thumb their noses at Trump. At least 10,000 did that and swamped the natives. All of the offices went democrat with equal numbers. Typical previous student participation was maybe 1-2 thousand. I would have to do some research to get accurate numbers, but you can get the idea.

With Open borders there will never be enough of them.
