#40. DHS cannot control state and local elections. They can try to protect national/federal elections. That is what the Dems said the Pres/DHS had to do. Nothing about state and local elections where corrupt Democrats control more things than you’ll ever know.

I volunteer for the immigration enforcement job.

It is amazing how many inept, all talk no action, workers reside in Government.

I would set up a safe zone in Southern America. As fast as ICE can find illegals, I would have a Berlin style airlift taking illegals down south to the safe zone.

Why can’t somebody, anybody arrange for this simple results driven process.

She has been a horror re: the border and illegal immigration, but also, and I guess as a final straw, as the one responsible for election security.

She of course has been Gen. Kelly’s girl, protected by Kelly, and I have never trusted Kelly at all.

And no, I don’t think mere incompetence explains it.

Agreed. This article also deflects away from the election security debacle that she is responsible for.

She and Kelly are Deep States. Mattis too. Trump needs to at least get some loyalists around him. The tricky part is finding a spare hoyalist who also had already been confirmed and would have a clue about this particularly tough job.

Another fake news posting rumor from WaPo—— TIMED exactly to deflect attention to the DHS investigation into the voting scandals in FL and AZ. Mr. Trump has referred to “watching closely”, as the two counties in FL Palm Beach and Broward, coordinated with each other to manufacture ballots out of nowhere and secreted intentionally in ridiculously poor “chain of custody location” and mishandled and mis-sorted the so called “provisional ballots” with identified illegal/uncertified voters with them.

This is a deep state salvo “article” planted to de-fuse the exposure of the “dry run” electoral corruption on the part of these specific counties. Notably, in the 2000 bush vs. gore FL recount— it was specifically Palm Beach and Broward County which were requested by Gore for a re-count (not a statewide one, but just these TWO). This was the central point of the SCOTUS ruling against it, and requiring the results from the Election night tabulation to be the basis, and not a manufactured hand-recount judge-decided “election”.

“Rudy’s great gift is that he knows how to knock heads together and get everybody marching in step.“

His great downside is his tendency to speak off the cuff gets him in trouble... often.

Do you people never bloody learn.

Rudy is a liberal at heart god love him.

If Trumps immigration policy is ever going to be made a reality he is going to have to hire a tough nasty SOB.

He cannot keep affording making the mistake of hiring people that like him but think they know better and try to tame him. Trump needs to be unleashed.

And I speak as someone that really likes Rudy.

We need Sarah to overthrow Murkowski in the Senate (2020).

I doubt Sarah can beat Murkowski! She would need mostly all Republicans to vote for her or else she loses cause we know Democrats will all be voting for Murkowski

Who replaces her? Rudy?

Kris Kobach has probably started packing and contacting movers.

No. We need someone younger and with a smaller ego.

Kris Kobach fills half those requirements.

Kris Kobach has a big ego. He thought he was a shoo in for Gov. He found out wrong.

I am beginning to suspect Trump got rolled by the GOP-e beyond the possibility of recovery.

No more Trust Sessions Trust The Plan? Going to work double to make up for all the lost time and energy, or just throw in the towel. Before you launch both barrels, just remember I am one of the ones who warned you long ago.

Hubris can come back and bite you sometimes. That doesn't mean he wouldn't make a good DHS secretary.
