I voted for her, but I never thought that being the first female fighter pilot had a whole lot to do with bring a good US Senator. That’s all I heard in her stupid ads.
If you wrote out a McCain-like template...McSally was using a 80-percent McCain template. She wanted to be portrayed as the ultra-ultra moderate (maybe even more moderate than McCain himself). I agree on your assessment...the fighter pilot angle really didn’t amount to much. Resume-wise, she was weak and it was like reading a 3x5 inch index card as your resume.
