Ginsburg working from home after fall

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who is still recovering from a fall last week, missed a sitting of the court on Tuesday morning.

The Supreme Court’s Public Information Office said Ginsburg, 85, was working from home Tuesday.

“She continues to improve and is working from home this morning,” Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg said.

Ginsburg fractured three ribs after falling in her office Wednesday night. She went home after the incident, but called Supreme Court Police to take her to the hospital early Thursday morning after experiencing discomfort overnight.

She was released from George Washington University Hospital on Friday, and the court’s public information office said then that she was doing well.

The court did not have any arguments scheduled for Tuesday. The justices were on the bench to release orders. The court is not scheduled to hear arguments again until after Thanksgiving.

Ginsburg also missed Friday's investiture ceremony for the court's newest justice, Brett Kavanaugh. The ceremonial welcoming to the court was widely attended, including by President Trump and the first lady.

Ginsburg, 85, was working from home Tuesday.

Wishing her a speedy recovery, but this story is pure BULLSHIT.

What difference does she make?

With a 5 to 4 conservative majority, she is inconsequential as a Republican in the Maine Legislature.

Broken ribs are bad news in an old person. They won’t heal quickly, and meanwhile breathing will be uncomfortable and coughing and sneezing will be agony.

The pain will interfere with her ability to sleep, and lack of sleep will create other issues.

I’m not sure she was really “working” before her fall, from her public comments it seems she would be relying heavily on her staff to do most of her work for her.

She won't be able to walk in six months.

She'll waste away and become a potato chip in the next this life.

Here she is in the hospital. Drs. say she'll need to wear this protective set up for at least a couple of years.

...and don't worry about the fact that she isn't talking, eating, or breathing. That's just because she's working so hard that she sometimes forgets ...

When she goes down for her dirt nap, probably we won’t know it until later. They’ll wait to see if there’s any way possible to Rat-load the Senate first.

It’ll be like John McCain, who most likely entered Hell several weeks before his announced death.

“She continues to improve and is working from home this morning,”

Does she work with her eyes closed?
