Why do people insist upon reflexively opening their doors for knocks or doorbells?
If not expecting someone or a specific UPS/FedEx delivery, my technique is to ignore it.
If really interested might view the camera or through the peephole, yet not often.

I’m with you on this one I NEVER answer my door unless expecting someone!!! Don’t want to talk to realtors, sales people, or religious people handing out pamphlets!!!!

Yeah, and when the door isn’t answered, burglars assume no one’s home and break in, providing the opportunity for a good shoot and one less violent criminal.
