I think we all assumed because we liked his wife Barbara’s books so much and respected her that he had to be a good guy too. It began to look like their marriage was more like Carville and Mary Matalin’s...him a jerk and her a logical, common sense person.
Could it be more like he’s a lawyer and lawyers are paid to do their clients bidding? So he’s just doing what he’s paid to do!
I remember Ted Olsen from the 90s. He was on Fox News all the time taking the conservative angle in the Clinton/Monica scandal. He was good.
