Brexiteers within the Conservative party met Tuesday as the news emerged of a “technical level” agreement emerged — apparently leaked to Irish journalists sympathetic to the European Union but not to figures within the United Kingdom — and spoke of launching a “coup” against the Prime Minister, Britain’s The Times reported in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Forget all the noise and focus on the big picture. PM is going to recommend daylight robbery: paying £39bn for nothing in return; effectively handcuffing us to the Single Market and chaining us to the Customs Union forever. A key agreement with the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) — the Ulster party which gives Theresa May’s minority government ten key votes which keep it in power, seems to also have been broken, as the apparent deal would see Northern Ireland under a different regulatory framework, dictated by Brussels rather than Great Britain.

Tory Brexit rebel leader Jacob Rees-Mogg, who was at the heart of coup plotting Tuesday, told Sky News of the Prime Minister’s plan: “…she hasn’t so much struck a deal as surrendered to Brussels, and given in to them on everything that they want, and tried to frustrate Brexit. It is not so much the vassal state any more, as the slave state.”

I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that Obama had been called in as a consultant to help May put this together. This sounds like the “deal” he made with Iran.

What happened to the supposed no confidence vote that was supposed to happen “within days”?
Obama is a figurehead for the real power brokers.

The UK has finally agreed a Brexit deal with the EU - 874 days after the vote to Leave.
But Theresa May now has to get it past her Cabinet, then EU leaders, then the UK Parliament.
Ministers are being summoned to No10 at 2pm to agree the deal - and if they don't back it, they'll have to resign. It's the fight of May's political life.
Already Brexiteer Tories have warned they'll vote against it in the Commons. Mrs May's DUP allies say it could break up of the UK and ex-Tory leader Iain Duncan Smith warns her days are numbered.
If it fails by 29 March 2019, we get a No Deal Brexit.

I haven’t even read any of the details and I already figured it was a massive sellout of the UK. Hard Brexit is the only viable choice.
We should immediately offer the UK a free trade agreement.
