The socialists, er, democrats would not even be attempting this if not for three things they can always count on:

1) The 'mass media' will act as their de facto propaganda ministry.

2) Left-wing, activist judges to decide in their favor, the law be damned.

3) An electorate that has been brainwashed to follow their masters to their destruction, all the while proclaiming their virtue.
