With NBA commissioner Adam Silver in the stands and supporting the cause, the Los Angeles Lakers and Atlanta Hawks honored the victims of the Thousand Oaks shooting by wearing black T-shirts with the message "Enough" on the front.

The Lakers and Hawks followed what the Clippers and Milwaukee Bucks did on Saturday when players from both teams first wore the T-shirts.

"As I've always said, our players aren't just ballplayers, they're citizens," Silver told ESPN after watching the Lakers beat the Hawks 107-106 on Sunday. "They have strong feelings about what's happening in society and they react to them. I think this was something that was a groundswell within the league. It came from the players and it spread by word of mouth from one team to another.

"It obviously began here in California and other teams around the league supported them," Silver continued. "Again, I support our players' desire to speak out on issues that are important to them and important to society."

The T-shirts also had the names of all 12 people killed by a gunman who opened fire inside the Borderline Bar & Grill, a popular local spot about 40 miles northwest of Los Angeles.

Hmmmm. Well, already didn't give two craps about the nba but now I guess I'll have to ratchet it up to 3. I'll stay off your BB court, you stay off my rights. No doubt all the nba "players" will be handing in their firearms and disarming their security. Right? #My2nd

I’m sure these enlightened defenders of free speech would support their players wearing shirts saying “ENOUGH ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION” or “don’t tread on me”

Ha, yeah, that would happen, right? Good point.

I wish people would post comments at these sites pointing out that CA has all these stupid gun control laws, and they didn’t stop this shooting. The only thing that stops a shooter is someone else with a gun. There will always be crazies, criminals, and terrorists, so people must be prepared to defend themselves and others.

To me “enough!” is Trump’s riposte to that petulant child acosta during that disgraceful press conference.

Enough! with a heavy Queens accent and emphasis on the ending “f” sound.

But California has passed and enacted every law these Leftists claim will end the shootings. Maybe what they should really do is pass a law demanding that lawbreakers follow the laws. That’ll do it.

How many of these hypocrites carry their own gun or have security around them carrying? So what exactly are they protesting?

So, will the Chicago Bulls hand out a new tshirt each Monday with the word “WEEKEND” on the front and the fresh list of the half-dozen to dozen killed and the forty to fifty shot every weekend? I was told black lives matter.

Now you’ve done it. Hope fully there are no Bulls trolls on here or we might just see that. What is the average on the weekends in the windy city anyway? Pretty sure they can top 12 a month right?

I guess they haven’t had enough of the BLACK on BLACK killing in Chicago.

Harder to get 350 Names on a T-Shirt.

NBA players obviously don’t care about Chicago.

So far this year in Chicago, there have been the equivalent of 35 Thousand Oaks massacres. September 2018 murders/shootings were down to only 42 and 214. But, this apparently isn’t worth noting to the NBA social activists.

Okay, so I will grant that they aren't just ball players, they are citizens. So friggin what? They uneducated, ignorant(for oh so many of them) opinions don't mean diddly shit just because they are professional athletes. Actually they are more like professional whores with a limited career expectancy.

Why anyone, ANYONE gives credence to the opinions of celebrities of any stripe is beyond me, yet people will by products, see movies, vote for things that celebrities prostituted themselves for or gave their ignorant uneducated of...................because, well hell they're overpaid whores!

Wouldn’t it be bitchin if a bunch of fans started showing up to professional sporting events wearing shirts that said ‘Enough Shut Up and Play!’

People are losing their jobs, being thrown out of school, and physically attacked for wearing T-shirts supporting Trump and America. Why are these guys allowed to get away with it without any repercussions? Typical double standard.
