Defeated Republican Martha McSally could make it to the Senate after all with an appointment to the seat that John McCain held prior to his passing.
It's currently occupied by Jon Kyl, who had served in the Senate before and retired. He has only committed to doing the job until the end of the year, which would provide Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey with a new opportunity to appoint someone, possibly McSally.
'Martha McSally would be a very good member of the United States Senate, however she got there,' Kyl told CNN on Tuesday. 'And I regret that she didn't make it in her election.'

I prefer Hayworth or DiCiccio type of politician. At least I know they would listen to us.

It would explain her instantaneous rollover while the Democrats in Florida are fighting tooth and nail.
Yep that seat will be up for election again in 2020. I’m not totally familiar with McSally, but heard she’s not really conservative on some issues. It would be nice to see a strong conservative appointed.

Despite the possibility of some irregularities I think she genuinely lost. Occam’s Razor is all that’s needed to explain the concession. By all accounts ran a crappy campaign. I don’t think she deserves a consolation prize
McSallycain is a Bush League Republican.
We do not need any more Senators hell bent on turning the USA into North Mexico.
We have plenty of those already.
Alexander, Graham, McCain, Murkowsky, Hoeven, Rubio, Tillis, Burr, Lankford, Gardner, Cornyn, Hyde-Smith, Collins, Sasse, Kennedy, Shelby, Ernst, Blunt, McConnell, Wicker, Portman, Isakson, Johnson, Toomey, Rounds, Thune, Gaines, Barasso and Enzi are all Bush League Republicans.
My concern would be that if she managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory once, she could do it again in 2020. Maybe even cost Trump the state, if she tries hard enough.)
Ducey will make the call. Is he more or less conservative than Kyl?
McSally failed to hold Republican votes. She lost Independents big. Why pick her?
McSally needs to go away. She’s a loser.

McSally’s “happy” concession to that nutcase Sinema after having the election stolen made me sick. She’s another “walk all over me”, bought and paid for RINO!

Ducey and Kyl are both Bush League Republicans.
Kyl was an Amnesty Senator when he was in office before Flake was the other Amnesty Senator from AZ.
Pick Dr. Kelli Ward instead.
No thanks. I wasn’t a fan of that nutty McCain clone woman in the first place. I only liked her maybe 3% better than her ISIS supporting communist lesbo opponent.
