I can see a racist, anti semite, woman beating, muslim candidate winning a Congressional seat, in a district made up of his “kind of people”, but a statewide AG spot?

yes and no. When the major cities are infested by the enablers and his “kind of people” it tends to swamp out the will of rational normal people.
