President Trump delivers remarks on the First Step Act, which would make changes to sentencing and prison laws.

This is another promise made/promise kept by the President who made prison reform one of his hallmark efforts before the Young Black Leadership Summit.

I don't know all the measures included in this act except that it involves training and help for those just getting out of prison for non violent crimes. And it is "bi-partisan"...probably the last bipartisan bill we will see signed for a very long time.

He will get no credit for this effort....but I hope many in the African-American community will be paying attention.

I am all for non-violent (like MJ use) prisoner being paroled, on to a TRAINING program with a no-nonsense work requirement.

Watched it live and toggled between the 3 majors.
CNN and Fox were airing it.
The black CATV Net MSNBC was doing a piece on Obamas Ole Lady

I am for that too.

The President also mentioned faith based efforts to help inmates who get out of prison to get jobs, help.

He also talked about how employers are in need of good workers and the ones who have hired excons are telling them they are delighted with their work ethic.

Anything that President Trump does that is considered helpful to the black community you can darn well bet the Commie media will NEVER report it..because well, if they don’t air it, it never happened

Great video - Prez Trump rocked it - everybody [including myself] had to laugh when he did his ‘bi-partisan’ bit...
