that’s because planetary “weather” is a chaotic system that’s been absolutely proven to be too complex to predict accurately beyond three days ... planetary weather is completely deterministic but simply to complex to predict very far into the future ... mixing two tablespoons of baking powder into three cups of flour is deterministic but too complex to compute particle locations after mixing a couple of seconds ... so, indeed, if weather is literally impossible to predict after only three days, then how in the hell can any intelligent, educated person expect that “climate”, which is many orders of magnitude more complex than weather and FAR less understood, be predicted decades into the future?

Now, realize that the temperature record of the ocean not all that long ago was at the level of a guy throwing a rope attached to a bucket with a mercury thermometer inside, lowering it z’, waiting a short bit for it to equilibrate, hauling it up fast, and reading the mercury. And from this the Warmists are ultimately making arguments over fractions of a degree over millions of square miles over tens or hundreds of years?
