He was not a “box check”, dude.
He just didnt have the budget to run ads 24/7.
I am originally from Michigan but now live in Tennessee. We have seen John James ads and other “news” events featuring him. To me he came off wooden and canned talking his “check boxes”. He did not seem personable at all.
I don’t know if he was or not. But people on FR treated him like one.

No, money wasn’t James’s main problem. I told everyone when he started, his main problem was name recognition and he spent more than a month just getting up to about 70%. That is a major hurdle, and while it “can” be solved by money, it’s really a waste. Name recognition is something any candidate needs to start with. James was thrown in a cycle too soon.
