Didn’t POTUS essentially offer to get her enough votes if she needed some from our side?
I hope she’s read* “The Art of the Deal” to realize just how much those few votes are liable to cost her!

McCarthy should throw the long ball. Go after the freshman democrats. Promise them plumb committee assignments, in some cases even the chairmanship, if they will vote for him as the speaker of the house. Screws up the dem committee seniority plan and control of the house. It wouldn’t take that many flippers to win.
I am not kidding. The Congress needs a breath of fresh air. I truly believe that we should put partisanship behind us and make Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez the next speaker of the house.

No matter who is the Dem Speaker - Pelosi is nuts and any of the younger ones will be even more nuts...I doubt they have a candidate who can sound sane and still be chosen for the spot.
Occasional-Cortex has those Pelosi eyes.
And even less sense than Pelosi - can’t wait for the new wave of socialists to fully imbue themselves - if that don’t wake People up, we are just doomed.
