BREAKING: Palm Beach Doesn't Meet Recount Deadline

The 3 p.m. deadline in the Florida recounts has come and gone, and Palm Beach County is unable to provide their vote totals.

BREAKING: Palm Beach unable to finish even Senate recount. Will not make state machine recount deadline for any of the races. #FloridaRecount— Kyra Gurney (@KyraGurney) November 15, 2018

So what happens now? Apparently they just keep on counting.

We knew Palm Beach had its issues. On Tuesday the machines overheated, which essentially meant officials had to recount the recount.

"We’re disappointed by the mechanical problems that are going to cause a further delay in the recount,” Palm Beach Supervisor of Elections Susan Bucher said at the time.

We are still waiting for an official winner in both the Senate and gubernatorial races. As it stands, Republican Gov. Rick Scott and Republican Rep. Ron DeSantis are holding on to their tight leads over Sen. Bill Nelson and Andrew Gillum.

Broward County, meanwhile, finished their recount in the nick of time.

While a judge rejected Democrats request for an extension, he did allow an extension for provisional ballots with mismatched signatures.

The counties across the nation that have the most problems with voting are the ones controlled by those who oppose Voter ID, voting integrity and ballot simplicity.

It’s only 2 counties where most of the residents are transplants from NY and NJ.

How hard can it be? I’ll tell you FReind, the Republican will win if they don’t recount the ballots they way THEY want to count them, 1 for R, 1 for Dem, 1 for R, 2 for Dem, 1 for R, 3 for Dem, that’s how they want to recount

No other machines in any other county overheated that I’m aware of. Why is this problem in just one country?

The machines did not overheat. The stall was purposely done to hand count which will allow the communists Democrats to cheat. The courts are pure shit. This whole things is an example of how the communists Democrats would rule once in power, criminals all.

Nullify that counties votes.

Make that county do a revote with U.S. Marshals watching every polling place and guarding the ballots.

SOS should follow the law in regards to this. At least one could point to constitutional law as to why.

"Florida Statute 1: "If any Florida county Board of Elections, and their appointees, cannot fulfill state and federal election law, and obey the commensurate deadlines that insure the integrity of the election, then the Board of Elections and all of their appointees will serve no less than ten (10) years in a Florida correctional facility, with no hope of parole."

THIS JUST IN-----SCOTT WINS RECOUNT
but Andrew Gillum refuses to concede; gains just 1 vote

SOURCE: orlandosentinel.com

TALLAHASSEE — Nine days after Florida’s Election Day, the deadline for machine recounts of three statewide races came and went Thursday, but Andrew Gillum refused to concede and urged vote counting to continue even as his margin behind Ron DeSantis was slimmed by just one vote.

“A vote denied is justice denied — the State of Florida must count every legally cast vote,” Gillum said in a statement as the machine recount was completed in 66 of 67 counties. “As today’s unofficial reports and recent court proceedings make clear, there are tens of thousands of votes that have yet to be counted. We plan to do all we can to ensure that every voice is heard in this process.’’

U.S. District Judge Mark Walker, calling the state a “laughingstock,’’ refused to suspend deadlines in the races for U.S. Senate, governor and agriculture commissioner of 3 p.m. Thursday for machine recounts and noon Sunday for hand recounts.

Gillum had trailed Republican Ron DeSantis by 33,684 votes before the recount began, and while both candidates lost votes in the recount, the margin on Thursday was trimmed by one vote to 33,683.

In Palm Beach, the county’s Election Office was unable to perform a recount because of malfunctioning vote-counting machines. The county had to revert to its initial, pre-recount numbers as part of the new statewide results. “It was a heroic effort and we just completed uploading our Saturday results, as was required by law,” elections chief Susan Bucher announced on Thursday as the 3 p.m. deadline passed. A manual recount of 5,900 overvotes and undervotes was set to begin in Palm Beach at 4 p.m., but Nelson attorney Marc Elias wrote on Twitter the campaign would sue to have all ballots in Palm Beach hand-counted “due to systematic machine failure during the machine recount.”

In Orange County, the hand recount of 259 overvotes and 2,977 undervotes was expected to begin Friday morning. All six major candidates lost votes in the machine recount in Orange, with the Democrats losing on average about 27 more votes than Republicans. Nelson lost 94 votes, Gillum 84 and Fried 75, while Scott lost 59, DeSantis 55 and Caldwell 59. In Seminole, the three Republican candidates each gained 3 or 4 votes and each Democrats lost between three and five votes. In Lake, Democrats each lost 13 or 14 votes while Republicans lost between 5 and 8. But the percentage point difference in Orange, Seminole and Lake in all three races in remained exactly the same.

I’m betting that they missed the deadline because it would have helped Scott.

The members of the Palm Beach County Election Board can explain it to Mr. Waterboard.

They purposely quit counting, or never started, under the ruse that their machines were overheating, so that Nelson can now call for a HAND RECOUNT THAT WOULD TAKE WEEKS.................

Anytime there's evidence of election fraud in a federal election, that precinct should have its ballots seized and scrutinized. If cheating is proven, its tallies should be disqualified. (with oversight safeguards of course) The fraudsters should be prosecuted and incarcerated.

Hopefully the DHS was watching the likely suspects like a hawk, and will act accordingly.
