However, re your comment about “Sharpton and “interlopers” that needed to be burned out to save America” (assume these were the Korean merchants in NYC), it was Nancy’s Baltimore mayor Tommy D’Alessandro III” who let black gangs (both from the city and out of state), burn out small Jewish store owners in East Baltimore in the April 1968 riots.
Besides knowing people who were looted/burned out, I got nformation from both Police Intelligence connected former undercover agents and Box 414 Firefighter civilian volunteers who saw documents telling black rioters where to dump rocks and bricks for use by locals and what targets to hit.
One Italian grocery on Lombard Street, right near Albemarle St (where Pelosi was born, as was my mother) had its front window broken by rioters. Guess what happened? A local rioter came to the owner and apologied saying “You weren’t supposed to be hit”. Just the Jewish stores next to him all the way down to Central Avenue - Attmans’ Deli; Atlantic Import; Stones’ Bakery (best Challah, Rye and Danish in the city); Tulkoff’s Horseradish (they moved); the Kosher Chicken butcher; etc.
