So, after they get Assange (effectively working for the Cheatin’ Democrats), will they get any Cheatin’ Democrats for voter fraud in the 2018 election?

Lots of traitors to go after right here in the U.S. but no, they go after an honorable, and now ill man who has done NOTHING wrong. Might as well be Hillary’s DOJ.

“That’s rich Ben, look in the mirror. “

He’s up in 2020. Hope Trump finds a suitable replacement for Sasse. He’s proof that the GOPe as a few loons in its midst. Collins and Murkowski come to mind as well.

“I’m generally opposed to the concept of misfits we trust with our secrets going out and giving our secrets away to outsiders. I think it’s dangerous to our security.”

True, but aren’t you also “opposed” to a government that is being run by long-term, rank and file traitors in our intelligence services too? The Assanges of the world, are simply a reaction to the deep state corruption that we have allowed to become intrenched in our government. So take your pick! Personally, I applaud Assange. I just wished he’d kept his fly zipped, when he was up in Sweden. Too bad the Second Amendment doesn’t allow us citizens a mechanism to get rid of our internal offenders more readily.

What's "honorable" about him?

If you ran for some office, and some jackass clerk on your office leaked all your stuff (notes, speech drafts, banking info, etc.) to Wikileaks and they publish it... would you still consider that "honorable"?

Wikileaks simply publishes crap that misfits like Bradley Manning steal from their employers. They make a living doing that... it gets attention, and it makes them a great living.

For years Wikileaks published stuff... it was interesting, but most never payed attention to it. Then in 2016 they published stuff embarrassing to Hillary... and it pissed off Hillary and the Deep State. Boom... he gets charged with a bogus rape charge, hides in an embassy and our state department (still full of Hillary influence) has kept him pinned down there ever since.

Since the Deep State still controls our DOJ, they can now get Assange to testify... lies are encouraged... and he can gain his freedom. That's what's happening now as Mueller wraps up his "mission".

I think Assange will lie to gain his freedom... even if it means Trump goes to prison for life.

Of course I'm opposed to the so-called Deep State and the whole concept of that. I do see that as a disease, and I want it eradicated.

But... the military background in me makes me despise people who steal secrets and give them away... sometimes to the detriment of our people or mission. I have far more respect for whistleblowers who expose such problems. I realize that they face extreme challenges in coming forward, and usually lose... but in rare cases they win out and things get fixed.

These leaks that wind up in Wikileaks may make a splash from time to time, but they never result in anything being fixed. All they do is wind up making all the stuff being leaked inadmissible in courts because they were illegally leaked. They may make a hit politically, but from a legal standpoint, they are counterproductive.

Assange doesn't steal our secrets... others do that... for their own reasons, often times for no reasons that even make sense. Assange is just a guy who managed to monetize the fact that these people exist. I done't see heroism in that... I only see that he was clever in being able to make money off it.

He's in way over his head... he pissed off Hillary, and he's either going to rot in prison for life or he's going to lie against Trump. Do you think he's brave enough to be honest even if it means life in prison?

I don’t really know anything other than that the pattern of behavior and interests of today’s globalists is an exact match for that of the pattern of yesterday’s British Empire. The precise who and how still eludes me.

Something to also consider in this... I have personally spoken with Assange a couple times online in a now extinct forum during the Obama years. He is as patriotic as they come.

Do you think DJT is actually squeaky clean? His father dealt with mobsters and corrupt government officials and Donald has been dealing with mobsters in the gaming and real-estate business all his life.

You can bet Assange is sitting on information concerning this too and Trump knows it, and he could have used it in retribution but hasn’t. His first interest is this country and so far it has let him down.

You were right on the money when you said they were the same families because they are. These royal blood lines still own all the debt and monetary assets through the banks therefore still own all of us.

The Ellsberg Paradox...

Tried and dismissed. He was presented an award in 2006. He is still around and has voiced his support of Assange, Manning , And Snowden.

First of all, how do you actually know the reasons why Assange has done what he did? He's paying a steep price for the material he's exposed to the public. Thus far, he's been taking the fire by holing up in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, so in effect he's in prison, and so far as I can tell, there isn't any light at the end of his imprisonment tunnel.

I guess I have ambivalent feelings here. Our military is only as good as it's personnel, and we've seen the $hit in our Flag Officers Corps “rise to the top” under Obama. I've known/met some stellar military people in my life, but in all candor, there is a dearth of these people and the resulting real leadership and patriotism there today. So I am disposed to say Godspeed Julian Assange, because without what he's exposed we would still be like a bunch of political mushrooms.

Of all the things Trump’s new AG needs to be concerned about, this is very low on the list.

He hasn’t left a basement in London in almost seven years. He’s not going anywhere.

If he's remanded to US soil, he'll be charged with espionage.

We are worlds apart in how we view Assange, and I will leave it at that.

We do agree on what Mueller is likely working on, however, I do not believe Assange will lie. That has not been his history or pattern. Time will tell.
