Justice Department reportedly preparing to charge Wikileaks' Julian Assange

The U.S. Department of Justice is planning to prosecute controversial WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, according to a report Thursday.

The department is confident they will be able to get him into a U.S. courtroom, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources familiar with the plan. Mr. Assange has been holed up in the Ecuadorean embassy in London since 2012.

Justice Department officials believe a public indictment may be a means to remove him from the embassy, the report said.

This will truly cement our banana republic/stasi state status. None of the coup co-conspirators have been brought to justice.

The Ecuadorian President Lenin Moreno, is either too inept or too politically timid to kick Assange out of their Embassy.
I’ve been hearing that his departure was ‘imminent’ for the last year and a half.

Mr. Moreno describes the ongoing problem of Julian Assange as
“A stone in our shoe!” Or; “An inherited problem.”

First Assange, then Mr. Snowden.
Time to come in from the cold of isolation.

I agree.
We would not know about so much of the criminality within our government without him.

I think he should be given a medal.

Or at least a pardon, though that would be politically awkward for Trump.

I hope Ecuador doesn't throw him to the wolves.

Watch this short clip, if you can stomach the Water Buffalo. There is truth to be had here, regarding Assange and the threat he is for the derp state and Clinton Machine.

p.s. After proposing that we "drone" Assange, Hils would later say she was "joking".

A Talking Water Buffalo.

I would set up poison pills on high ranking officials if I was in his position. I have a lot of incriminating material. Extradite me and I will ensure gets published.

So amazing they are going after him for exposing the truth, but they are not going after Hillary, DNC and 0bama for colluding with Russia and facilitating spying on their opposition presidential candidate. I think DOJ/FBI people involved with all four FISA warrants and even the FISA judges should be under prosecution.

To the Democrats he is evil as he tells the truth about Hillary.

Assange is a hero to the American people.

And allegedly what crime is he alleged to have committed?

“U.S. intelligence officials believe Wikileaks and Russian hackers partnered to release emails stolen from the Democratic National Committee during the 2016 presidential campaign.”

In other words, they have no evidence. It also seems that this should be a civil matter between the DNC and whoever turned over the emails to Wikileaks.

And why haven’t people with the New York Times been prosecuted for their role in the leaks of classified information by Comey, Mueller, Brennan, et al?

I am elated to finally see support for these guys. It was not so a couple of years ago. Fact is... Trump would not have won if it had not been for Assange and Wikileaks.

I like that theory, goodman.

Notice it's the DOJ talking and NOT Mueller pants. Perhaps this is cover to get Assange's body on U.S. soil, away from the Derp State Brits, who will arrest him on sight if he gets out.

Once here?

Who knows.
