Democrats will waste little time in probing the Trump White House once they take power over the House of Representatives in January, according to Axios.
The outlet reports Democrats are considering launching at least 85 investigations into President Trump and high-ranking officials, including the firing of then-FBI Director James Comey and whether the president violated the Constitution’s emoluments clause. Further, Democrats will likely seek information on the administration’s family separation policy and relief efforts for Puerto Rico’s Hurricane Maria.
However, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who is expected to become House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence chairman, claims Democrats aren’t going to launch the investigation and subpoenas all at once. Instead, lawmakers will prioritize which focus-areas are of utmost importance to them and then work there way down the long list. Schiff says Democrats will also probe President Trump’s urging of the postmaster general to hike Amazon’s shipping costs.

Governing / Legislating does have, under the US Constitution and the ‘balance of powers’ concept, a role for investigation. That being said, it is not the ‘be all and end all’ of being a Representative in the US Congress. Does SanFranNan have any plans for anything other than being anti-Trump?

dealing with 85 house investigations is the same thing as shutting down the government. The Mueller show is already taking too much time and energy from the WH work.
Hopefully Pres. Trump will ignore the subpoenas like Eric Holder and Susan Rice did...oh wait, they were Democrats weren’t they?

If I was Trump I would fight every single Subpeona, even if it’s for the White House lunch menu all the way to the Supreme Court, heck all the appeals will take the entire two year democrat congressional term right there.
Exactly! The RATS treat Republican subpoenas as invitations scribbled on the back of a bar napkin, while Republicans treat RAT subpoenas as heavenly summonses to the throne of God. Long past time to stop groveling.
Don’t we have some 100,000 indictments “under seal” and waiting to be activated?
So go ahead and start your investigations. Then ask yourself why your committee members are disappearing down the DOJ rabbit hole, one by one.
Simple, ignore the subpoenas just as the RATS do.
