Snyder was no help to Republican candidates...And I don't know how much help he really was to the state of Michigan but one thing is for sure. Rick Snyder may have made things in Michigan a little bit better but he did not make Michigan great again.

“One thing about weed... There are a LOT of closet users.”
Yep! Soccer moms, stay-at-home parents, grandparents, doctors, surgeons, lawyers, teachers, psychologists, engineers, scientists, financial advisers, restaurateurs, burger flippers, waitresses, pole dancers(?)...And you can’t really tell if they’re under the influence or not. They’re well enough acclimated to the effects that for them it’s easy enough to control to the extent that nobody notices and nothing bad ever happens just because they ingested an insignificant amount of THC.

Has the annual Hash Bash in Ann Arbor been cancelled forever yet?

"If you think of smoking pot like drinking booze, think of all the things you cant do while youre drinking."
Drunks may be less likely to start themselves on fire while driving.
To: NobleFree
Yes it has... All the way back from before ancient Sumerian written history. It’s just cycling from once accepted by society, To unaccepted by society, and back to accepted by society again. Cannabis use has been around just about as long as man has been around.
To: clearcarbon
Only the most inexperienced users of cannabis will "OD" or have a "bad trip"...and set themselves on fire, as you suggest, but even with newbies, that is so unlikely to happen. When people first experience the psychoactive effects of the THC in MJ, they may not thoroughly enjoy it because the "high" can be very intense and maybe even a bit frightening. However, that is normal and with practice and semi-regular use of MJ, the effects become more quieting and comfortable. I would say that this is true for every user and for those who were upset and scared off by the initial effects, please don't assume that people who are still smoking are getting as stoned as you did before you said "never again". It's like walking into a haunted house as a kid. You might be scared by what's in there but after you walk through it a few times, it's not so bad and you end up laughing at all the stuff that freaked you out the first time.

I imagine a lot of the same fears were voiced when Prohibition was ended. The marijuana Prohibition is as bad as the alcohol one. Republicans are on the loosing side of this and it is costly in our elections. ‘FOR THE CHILDREN ‘ IS THE BATTLE CRY of every Democrat hysteria Government overreach proposal.
___ I started writing this entry at least an hour ago and just now able to complete it. My apologies if someone already said this since then.

Amen. It is like the Government doesn’t want anyone to have a gun. Hmmmmm
To: equaviator
I agree. You obviously have had experience with “Mary Jane’’.

The only time that unlawful user has been judged in court (that I am aware of), the term was judged to be essentially meaningless. ATF can print anything they want on their forms, but they cant make law.
