There’s a strongly held opinion that it’s smarter to believe in evolution. But if you could divide the general strength of that belief by the magnitude of its error, you would get a negligible quotient.

I’m very confident that belief in evolution corresponds with decreased intellectual activation in the believer’s mind when compared with belief in creation.

A very significant problem with my statement about intellect is that some might take it personally. I should clarify that I don’t mean it personally, but rather I mean it as simple fact. There is a vast difference between the intent to cause personal insult versus the intent to state fact.
