No problem I didnt talk about it for years. It was somewhat traumatic having soldiers walking through the restaurant with uzis. I wasnt used to that and watching home owners protecting their homes with shotguns.Different world.
Definitely left a mark.
Same reaction for us when we arrived in European Airports/train stations and saw armor vested / shotgun/ uzi carrying law enforcement watching you as you exited.
Also still not nice when you were stopped on a routine car trip and the barrel of the weapon was resting on on your rolled down window opening....
Yeah for sure, I got another dose on an early morning trip to the airport when we were stopped by several men with no uniforms carrying uzis at a corner, they let us by but it was a moment you don’t forget any time soon.
