The feud over who will be the next speaker of the House is heating up, as allies of the longtime Democratic leader, Nancy Pelosi, take on a rowdy band of rebels pushing for regime change.
Pro-Pelosi forces launched a snarky Twitter assault against a handful of the men leading the rebellion. As the progressive pundit Joan Walsh tweeted, So #fivewhiteguys are following the tactics of the right wing white guy Freedom Caucus to block a woman speaker after an election in which women saved the Democrats. Got it.

While the fight is happening among Democrats in the House, GOP should remain focused on MAGA. Because House results look worse than actual political reality. Consider the real reasons the GOP lost 37-40 seats in the House:
1. Early in the administration, the establishment GOP was complacent on muh Russia
2. 44 House Republicans retired prior to 2018 leaving open seats as opportunity for Democrats
3. Court ordered redistricting in PA cost at least one seat
4. Car accident suffered by the nominee in a SC seat took her off the campaign trail
5. Tax bill removing state and local income tax deduction hurt a lot in affluent suburbs
6. Failure to repeal Obamacare and losing the pre-existing conditions narrative
But the number one reason is BUILD THE WALL. How did the GOP go two years in control of the House and Senate and not fund the wall?
All of these are correctable problems. But none of them involve compromising on the Make America Great Again agenda!

You might want to review why the necessity of replacing Nancy is of such a priority. I think the failure of the Electoral College to function in 2020 (ballots being delayed and too late for the deadline)....will lead to the alternate method in January 2021, and perhaps the House Speaker ending up as President for a period of time. For a challenging time like this...the Democrats might want a better choice than Nancy.

5. Tax bill removing state and local income tax deduction hurt a lot in affluent suburbs
Please stop parroting that BOGUS argument.
Suburbanites who have a burr in their saddle about that are living in DEMOCRAT controlled states where real estate taxes are high. The key point of that being DEMOCRAT states because these people weren't likely voting Republican in any event.
Putting DEMOCRATS in charge only means that their taxes are going to GO UP EVEN HIGHER.
DEMOCRATS also tried to use HUD to force Section 8 housing into all of their communities. A plot that Donald Trump brought to screeching halt.
Any suburban home owner who voted Democrat over that issue is to STOOOOPID to realize where his self-interest lies. And regardless, changing the tax code was the right thing to do. The rest of us should not be subsidizing them or the Democrat governments which are picking their pockets.

I can’t wait for Nancy to show us what a strong leader she is without the Senate and Presidency to back her up.

It doesn’t matter who is speaker.
The house is marginalized and pretty much irrelevant. The Reoublican controlled house oassed tons of bills never taaken up by the senate .
That fact will be the lead in the presstitute hue and cry for the next two years. Maxine can bitch and moan, but that is all

Funny, CBS This Morning is committing bias by omission ignoring this major fight in the Democrat party. I watched the typical Trump hating reporting by NorDUH and Major Garret at the WH, but no mention of Pelosi and the Dem fight for speaker, silent.

How bout them Democrats posing with hunting dogs and shotguns, and talking about their Christian conservative values. That oughta been worth a few points in fooling enough low info voters to switch a couple seats.
Too bad Republicans have too much integrity to run races in urban areas lying about how progressive they are. Might could fool enough low info voters there too. Turn their tricks back on them. But, no...Republicans have too much integrity. Oh well. Regardless, the media would dutifully inform the low info crowd of dirty Republican tactics.

..unless the Dims manage to pull off a miracle and change leadership in their party, all they will manage to do over the next two years, in partnership with the msm, is to make headlines every day that the rest of us will have to regurgitate...
..
This is because of THE MAN in the Whitehouse and McConnell’s iffy control in the Senate.

I thought Fudge was challenging Pelosi, and she is black, so where does racism come into it?
