Homeland Security shut down incoming traffic at the countrys busiest land-border crossing in order to harden the port of entry, Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said Monday.
Ms. Nielsen said she had gotten word a large number of migrants were preparing to rush the border, hoping to overwhelm U.S. authorities at the San Ysidro entry point, just north of Tijuana, Mexico.
Unfortunately, some members of the caravan are purposely causing disruptions at our border ports of entry, she said on Twitter. There is a legal and illegal way to enter the U.S. We have deployed additional forces to protect our border. We will enforce all our laws.
She posted photos of additional razor wire and barriers being added around the port of entry.

Good job DHS. I’m thinking she wants to keep her job.

The Fake News is showing old footage of people climbing over our Ocean Area Fence. This is what it really looks like - no climbers anymore under our Administration!

I hope they run some electric current through that wire.
Only one thing missing...
FIRE!
Need flamethrowers blasting on the fence.
Cannot do unless the wire is insulated from the ground or anything touching the ground.
National security. Shoot the invaders.
Rut roh. The cartels won’t like that.
Sorry border barbie Nielsen is simply not upto the job - we need a wartime DHS secretary NOW (kobach, homan, etc)
I like it that she uses the words “additional FORCES.”
BUILD THE WALL!
Bingo!
According to the Kansas City Star, April 12, 2017, Kobach is the only secretary of state in the nation that has the authority to prosecute voter fraud. (Which alone is a disgrace.)
Kobach has done well with such prosecutions, and would do well with regard to pushing for enforcement legislation that significantly eliminates noncitizen voting (while we have the opportunity). (As it is, the feds simply accept the voter's word on the issue.)
He would also likely bring an aggressive stance re implementing measures that more adequately secure the border.
Both are elements of a serious threat to our nation, and have been increasingly nourished over the past 6-7 decades by the left.
Won’t they dig under the wire?
ping
I suppose they could. The wire is attached to the fence/wall, so I guess it depends on how far the fence goes into the ground.
