My nephew married a woman from Peru, and she identifies as Latina, never Hispanic. They live in Florida.
This couple are reliably conservative, pro-life and Catholic. Both have Master’s degrees, so do not qualify as uneducated Trump voters.
Democrats trying to shame them are barking up the wrong tree.
Especially those who fled Fidel Castro!
BTW, I met an Alabama trooper, whose ethnicity I would have pegged as Puerto Rican: but when he spoke, it was clear he'd been indoctrinated in the Suth'in language. ;)
