Mexicans are hypocrites. They’ve been violating our sovereignty for decades without a care. Now they don’t like it being done to them?

Before the liberal editors at the LA Times deleted it https://hotair.com/archives/2018/11/19/tijuana-residents-want-caravan-go-sounding-like-trumps-america-mexico/

Ironically, many protesters echoed the complaints of President Trump, who denounced the caravan as an "invasion" and a threat to national security. "We are not with Trump -- he has spoken horribly about Mexicans -- but he is right in that every country has a right to defend its borders," said Alejandra Garcia, 52, a mother of two who was among about 150 gathered as the protest began along a major boulevard here featuring a statue of Cuauhtemoc, the last Aztec emperor. "This is not about xenophobia. We are not against immigrants. Most everyone in Tijuana came from somewhere else. But people must come here in an orderly fashion and not try and make trouble."

You know, illegal immigration is not new to Mexico. Generations of Central Americans have used it as a stepping stone into the United States but this caravan, the numbers, how they’ve crossed, how they’ve acted seemed to have awakened a silent now vocal minority against them.

but this caravan, ain't gonna GO into the USA; but be STUCK here in OUR country!

Woe is us for helping them get THIS far!!

They’re getting a little schooling in the golden rule now.

Protecting Our Southern Border and Working With Mexico to Address Caravans and the Safety of Those Transiting Mexico

Michael R. Pompeo
Secretary of State
Washington, DC
November 22, 2018

I have been in close contact with Mexican Foreign Secretary Videgaray and it has been one week since Secretary Nielsen and I had a constructive meeting with Mexican Foreign Secretary-designate Marcelo Ebrard to discuss the migrant caravans. We have affirmed our shared commitment to addressing the current challenge. The caravans will not be permitted to enter the United States. There are real dangers to the safety and human rights of migrants from those who would prey on them.

I look forward to working with the incoming Mexican government on all aspects of our relationship, including exploring opportunities to spur job creation in the region, including in Southern Mexico, to benefit the government and people of Mexico.
