America used to be a live-and-let live kind of place, with its prejudices but where people linked together, where there was a basic agreement on the rules to govern ourselves. For me it isn’t that we have nothing in common so to speak, but rather their tyrannical drive to impose their beliefs, prejudices, immorality, socialism, etc on everyone else through the use of government force and excessive taxation. That does not bode well for the next chapter.

“And I believe this will likely be the U.S.’s fate: dissolution“

If the Left is in power, it will use Lincoln’s precedence to crush that.

I agree California should leave but that would cause a flood of people leaving CA to other states. I think America stands a better chance with South American migrants than Californian migrants.

It seems to me that we base our opinion of American’s on elections. Those election results then impact cronies and judicial appointments. The election process is flawed. From what I see of opinions around me, many people do not agree with the left leaning move. The elections are rigged, i.e., ballot stuffing, changing votes, illegals and inherent holes in system. The left has figured out how to use it - Obama’s second term, Hillary. Really?

” Instead of crying in our collective beers, we should be preparing. “

Start with the anti-conservative hate gangs. Antifa needs to vanish into the night as does the radical feminazis.

There's a time to "lovingly teach the principles of morality and honor" (as you say) and there's a time to pick up yur damn weapon.

Thanks for posting the article, Rooster. I was just starting to feel hopeful about our Republic and had stepped away from the re-loading bench for a little while. But with the left weaponizing media, academia, entertainment and law-fare against us I'm gonna start cranking out production again.

Only thing that will make me hopeful: President Trump starts with the indictments and prosecutions of the criminals who led and participated in the coup against him. And, unfortunately, the prospect of that happening diminishes daily.

Be a shame to waste all that ammo anyway ... and I'm not getting any younger.

‘We may not win the war but we can inspire new generations of conservatives by standing up for morality.’

consider the author’s point; between the ‘16 and ‘20 elections, 10 million will have died, the large majority older people who voted Trump...

Trump has it in his power to have many of his enemies perp walked. I can’t understand why he is so hesitant to make the moves to accomplish this. Why haven’t IC’s been appointed to investigate the coup attempt and the Clinton/Obama Crime Syndicate? Why did he create the Commission on Election Integrity only to strangle it in it’s crib? Had this commission been allowed to aggressively complete it’s task two or three senate seats and untold congressional seats would not have been stolen. Scott Walker would still be governor. Why did Trump sit idly by and watch the frauds being committed in Florida and Georgia just hoping it would turn out OK? Why isn’t his Commerce Department and DOJ at least looking at anti trust efforts against Big Social Media? Why does Trump fiddle as corrupt hack judges burn down the good he does accomplish? The president doesn’t need the support of the DS to start to rectify all of these concerns. Trump just needs to direct his cabinet to do it. If the secretaries don’t comply replace them. A good example is the new acting AG who is perfect for the task but apparently is being reigned in so as not to offend the delicate sensibilities of our bloodthirsty leftist enemies. Trump has pussy footed around with the Mob and it’s stooge press long enough.

there’s a bit of irony in the author believing the quote originated with Swift.

I just read the fairly long article. The conclusion is that the quote (much paraphrased by others) did indeed originate with Swift.

Well, this could all come to pass, but, Trump still holds a handful of cards yet to be played. It could all burst open in one evening to the extent it could not be spun by the MSM. I put my faith in the Lord, and I believe He has sent Trump at this time for this very reason.

‘we...can not do anything good apart from God.’

‘in the mean time we are to be about His work.’

since you assert we can do nothing without divine control, somewhat confusing how you claim we should be doing divine labor...shouldn’t God be about His own work...?

“The question becomes “How will white people be treated when White is a minority?””

Take a good look at how the white man has been treated over the past several years and multiply that by a factor or 10.

I don’t know how white women will fare, but after decades of extreme anti-white male indoctrination...let’s just say it won’t be pretty.

If I were smart enough to put my thoughts on paper I could have written this. We have seen our last Republican president, and this one was an anomaly. Had there been any other candidate we would have President Clinton now. The libs have won. You can call me defeatist, a pessimist, whatever, but you won’t know this country in 20 years. We will go down with barely a whimper, much less a fight.

That article is 100 percent secular therefore not accurate.

“the quote (much paraphrased by others)”

Including the author. It would have been more correct to write something such as “to paraphrase J. Swift”. As it is, he more closely cited one or more of the other modern paraphrases.
That’s a good site, interesting to check out for questions on or when mulling about quotes.

“we are on the right side of morality, decency, and honor.”

I’m sure that’s a comfort to the million of them lying in mass graves.
