Sad to say it, but I am coming to the conclusion that we would be better off if California left the union. What really do the rest of us have in common with places like SFO where it is tolerated for bums to crap on the streets, where “forest management” results in a refusal to cull old trees that are fire kindling, where taxes are sky high and going higher, where there is little recognition of the “old” America? Our fellow “Americans” from there and states like Massachusetts, CT, northern NJ, NYCity all seem like they are from another planet in their views, customs, manners. Perhaps it is time for them to go.

America used to be a live-and-let live kind of place, with its prejudices but where people linked together, where there was a basic agreement on the rules to govern ourselves. For me it isn’t that we have nothing in common so to speak, but rather their tyrannical drive to impose their beliefs, prejudices, immorality, socialism, etc on everyone else through the use of government force and excessive taxation. That does not bode well for the next chapter.

I agree California should leave but that would cause a flood of people leaving CA to other states. I think America stands a better chance with South American migrants than Californian migrants.

On the east coast, people resist identifying the problem areas.

We are forced to make distinctions between south and north New Jersey, New York and eastern Pennsylvania.

Yet in California we don’t account for the north, the fact that Colorado is mostly conservative (outside of Denver) and that Connecticut’s democrats are found in two small areas.

It’s all of NY and NJ though. Even in the rural areas. They are, just like Connecticut, fake conservatives. “But...” conservatives. And they get exactly what they deserve.

Pennsylvania follows. I am there in PA. And it’s allowing these leftists to come in by the thousands all because we want their tourist money. After a while, they stay. Same thing happened in Colorado drawing in the Californians and the same thing is happening in Arkansas (Where I am moving, it turns out, in a month or so) and in Texas.

They are moving in, and we aren’t moving into their areas. They are spreading like an unchecked cancer.
