This weekend, while I was waiting on my lovely wife....I perused the Target flyer that was in the paper. On stuff that I purchase (TP, laundry detergent, etc), prices are between 5 and 20% higher than WalMart. In all of the instances where the prices were lower, the package size was smaller, so the price jump was still maintained. They do have good coupons, though, but they're all predicated on continually shopping at the store ($10 off your next purchase, and so on)
I *was* slowly starting to shop again at Target, mostly due to the coupons and loss leaders. That changed this summer when I walked in to see a massive display of "Celebrate Gay Pride Month" merchandise. Walked out, haven't been back in.
I'm not upset to see the stock take a hit, they're next to fall after Sears, though it will take awhile.
I guess when you let Sodomites use the ladies room there is going to be a blow to your bottom line. After three years you would think they would understand that.
But they are more afraid of the freaks then they are of normal people.
I know that I tend to avoid mentally ill sexual deviants as often as I can.
Target’5s sales are down because they have the ugliest soft goods and home goods all of lowest quality ever.
What were their buyers thinking?
I guess there aren’t enough transgenders and pedophiles to keep it open.
The only time I go to Target now is to leave the toilet seats up in the women’s rest room.
Maybe Target should announce again that they don’t care if women’s restroom are used by men, and are willing to remove the door signage and add urinals to any restroom that doesn’t have them, just to fit in with what’s happening now.
So I saw a quality pair for $15 and were available for PRIME shipping. I clicked a button, finished my coffee and went back home. Yesterday afternoon, I got back from work and there were the gloves sitting in my mailbox.
So even minor purchases are being made online now. I can't be the only one doing this. Retail brick & mortar is a dying industry. Until they improve the experience, more and more people will just shop online.
Agreed. Target, Nike, and the NFL are all dead to me. I have not watched a game, purchased a product with the swoosh, or entered a Target store since they betrayed our country and our children.

Though I mourn the loss of most of the good ol’ brick and mortar places, I won’t feel sad when Target goes belly up. 30-40 years ago it used to be okay, but now - who cares?
Free Beer Tomorrow! ;)
I have a Wedding and Baby Shower for two of my Nieces coming up this year - both registered at Target.
I looked at what they were asking for and bought it elsewhere.
The last time I spent $ at Target was 3 years ago and only because I had a Starbucks Gift Card from a Vendor for $50 that I was NOT going to let go to waste. So, Target didn’t get any of that $, either. :)
” I can’t be the only one doing this”
you’re not. i hate “shopping”, this is, looking for something in stores that you’re not sure they have, what it costs, what its quality is, etc. ... and then there’s the whole issue of fighting traffic full of crazy drivers, parking lots full of crazy drivers, going fruitlessly to multiple stores that all carry the exact same limited selection, and long slow lines to check out with clerks who operate at the speed of three-fingered morphine addicts.
i only shop brick and mortar for groceries and common lumber-yard and hardware store items ... everything else is purchased online ...
Yep. There's a handful of things that I want to look at, try on, etc etc. New shoes is one thing that comes to mind immediately. Or if I'm in the right mood, sometimes it's fun to hit the sales and see what I can discover and save a boatload on....
Otherwise? What's the point when I can go to Amazon (or wherever) and order a replacement for what I like that's worn out, and have it at my house in a couple of days? Or, in your case, gloves are gloves, and there's little to be gained (unless you need them that minute) by shopping around.
Glad to have helped Target’s shares to slide.
I used to shop there pretty regularly. Since allowing men to enter the women’s restaurant, I have been there once and that was only because my son needed some stuff for his dorm and Target was around the corner.
Someone just gave me a gift card, so I’ll be using that. But otherwise, I hope they continue to slide away until they straighten up and realize the insanity of allowing men into a women’s restroom.
Target,Lowes, best Buy and the list goes on. All in the crapper.
Nothing to do with trannys or boycotts.
Sorry
