In a note to Judge Michael Aloise in Queens Supreme Court on Tuesday night, the jury wrote: After deliberating for the entire day we are split. It doesnt seem like we can make progress. We feel that we have exhausted all of our options.
Lewis attorney then moved for a mistrial and Aloise granted it. Im inclined to agree even though its only been a day and a half, Aloise said. There were extensive deliberations. They covered issues central to the debate.
Aloise then wished members of the jury a happy holiday before dismissing them.

And gentlemen.
If our judicial system won’t convict Hillary, Lerner, Comey,
etc. and enforce the laws on the books, why should we expect it to convict a poor black guy?
When you have a legal aid attorney who calls one witness for a few minutes, well you know you have a problem.
In this case. 7 jurors voted guilty, 5 not guilty
Doesn’t sound like there is any “former” there.
Tribalism on display.
