Trump hits back at Chief Justice Roberts
The Hill ^ | 11/21/18 | John Bowden

President Trump fired back at Chief Justice John Roberts on Wednesday after the leader of the Supreme Court rebuked the president over his criticism of "Obama judges."

"Sorry Chief Justice John Roberts, but you do indeed have “Obama judges,” and they have a much different point of view than the people who are charged with the safety of our country," the president tweeted Wednesday afternoon.

Trump's tweet came after Roberts released an unprecedented statement criticizing the president earlier Wednesday, saying the U.S. doesn't have "Obama judges or Trump judges, Bush judges or Clinton judges.”

“What we have is an extraordinary group of dedicated judges doing their level best to do equal right to those appearing before them,” Roberts said in the statement.

The 9th Circuit court, located in California, is known for frequently blocking policy initiatives on immigration and national security from the Trump administration, and most recently issued a temporary stay on a joint rule from the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security prohibiting asylum claims from some migrants who cross the border illegally.

"It would be great if the 9th Circuit was indeed an “independent judiciary,” Trump added.

Trump needs to make himself be seen as a reformer. Trump needs democrats and never trumpers to be seen as the ones obstructing reform. He needs to hammer this in over and over and over.

Court decisions prove Trump correct. It’s not about what’s constitutional. They line up according to political affiliation. When have Sotomayor, Kagan, and Ginsburg not voted together?

They have their political positions and try to make it fit the constitution.

What kind of dumb ass retard would suggest that there are just simply ZERO corrupt judges? Nope. No siree. There might be an occasional judge who gets it wrong, but corrupt? Partisan? Legislating from the bench? Why that’s just a fake charge that’s been circulating for decade after decade with no basis in fact whatsoever.

Oh, I know kind of dumb ass retard could do that! The same kind who finds obamacare to be constitutional

Roberts seems to be trying to pretend that politics can’t get into the judiciary.

Donald, that ole redneck, disagrees. Okay, Donald might not be right about every picky point (who is?), but he picks up the grand sweep of things just fine.

There’s gonna be a redneck revolution. https://www.soundcloud.com/daniel-levy-6/redneck-revolution-demo

Any objective person can plainly see that there are indeed Obama judges and Clinton judges and so forth. Our great President simply speaks the truth. I love this man.

I think we need one more replacement on the court to have a real working conservative SCOTUS.

It’s painfully obvious why Bush put that POS up for Chief Justice; a NWO globalist puke.

Yea, Roberts & all the leftist judges should have shut their pieholes over issues but now they all happen to be nonpartial.

RE:”Democrats clearly believed Kavanaugh was a political Trump nomination and did everything to stop it.”

Same thought here, and that Merrick Garland was a Obama judge.

Roberts is a huge constitutional disappointment. I mean where is he on the FISA court. If he things the government knows best and so he does not question the government with regard to FISA, then he is totally inconsistent with the numerous lower courts that second guess the Trump government. While they let the Obama do all sorts of unconstitutional things. Roberts is second only to Obama in having no regard for the constitution. And allowing the courts to second guess Trump. Fortunately Trump has blocked Roberts from any stupid decisions. Roberts can disregard his duties as chief justice. But he can no longer decide against the constitution.

The Supreme Court is probably less politically divided than most people think. There are a lot of 7-2 to 9-0 decisions inncases that don’t make the news. I read a bizarre report a few months ago that said for the 2017 Supreme Court term, Thomas and Ginsburg voted together more frequently than any other pair of justices. Go figure.

If Trump wants to hit back, HE NEEDS TO IGNORE THESE G-DAMN INJUNCTIONS!! The courts are owned by the radical left.

All the rest of this is just rhetoric.
