California-based electric car startup Faraday Future might have a strange new ally in its roiling fight with main investor Evergrande: the Trump administration. The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) issued an update on Wednesday to its Section 301 investigation into Chinas alleged practices of intellectual property theft and technology transfer, and Faraday Future was listed among the many examples cited in the refreshed report.

Far, far too many have been selling us out.
Just a side comment... “Faraday Future” seems like such a copycat sorta name. It’s like, “Okay, the leader in the electric car field is Tesla, so let’s just take a page from their playbook and name ourselves after some other pioneer of electricity.” Kind of like how a company calling itself Orange started selling clones of the early Apple computers.
Makes you wonder how much info PIAPs sold them from her bathroom server.
