the residual concern i have is what about security for american citizens crossing back into the us and becoming trapped by violent rioting caravan mobs while waiting in the queue...

My daughter had to cross the border at San Luis Rio Colorado yesterday. She said it took over three hours to get back across. It was three hours of terror with crowds swarming around her car, people yelling, pushing, etc. Thank God nothing happened to her, and she got back ok.
Why would any American Citizen be going into mexico while these criminals are doing an ILLEGAL BUMS RUSH at our borders?
Had to? I believe I would have a long talk with my daughter. She needs to come up with a better plan for life threatening issues that MAKE her cross in the first place.
You have to be down right null and void of any common sense to HAVE to cross into Mehico.
