Although Gatestone claims to be non-partisan, their roster of experts and authors tends to be center-left.
In any event, that is the most depressing essay on modern Germany I have ever read.
Like most publications, the Gatestone Institute has a mixture of writers. Over the past 2 years I had frequent contact with one of them and indirectly with the editor related to that author.
They have some writers they hire that have foreign backgrounds but thoroughly understand the subject matter.
I’d never try to defend all their writers. It is a foreign policy related publication.
