Colonial rule left whites with a majority of the Farmland? Please tell me who was farming there, or even living there before. The vast majority of South Africa was unoccupied before whites arrived. It’s a historical fact.
As it happens, the largest "private" landowner in SA since 1994 is the Ingonyama Trust, chaired by the Zulu king. This board controls land to which each member of the respective clans (their term) has a collective right. (Not all of the heads of those clans are entirely happy about this centralization of control but that's another issue). The Zulu are, naturally, suspicious that they're next on the agenda.
Free helicopter rides for the “leftists!”
“South Africa’s Boers”
And if they, the Boers, had not shown up there, what would the natives be today I ask....
And It looks like the natives are gonna return to their previous state of being ... Like ZIMBOB etc etc etc
Soon, no phones, water, working toilets etc etc
They have no real future in Africa after “THE BOERS” leave
They have no worthwhile PAST in Africa.
Give me the Sub Saharan equivalents of:
Hanging Gardens
Appian Way
Parthenon
Coliseum
Code of Hammurabi
Great Wall of China
Hieroglyphics/ writing
Written history
There was no real population in what is now South Africa when the Dutch arrived. There was only a few wandering pygmy tribes. I doubt there was any conflict until economic success drew in such tribes as the Zulu.
