President Trump should not comply with this terrorist in a black robe and tell him he will see him in the SCOTUS.

What you have done, Chief Justice Roberts, is to repeat the common mistake of interpreting President Trump’s remarks literally. Hey, he wasn’t talking to YOU, he was talking to US. And we knew EXACTLY what he meant.

Just shows how ignorant of how we interpret The Donald or protective his is of whatever they have hanging over him.

It's a flaw in the US Constitution. There needs to be an amendment that makes it clear that a federal judge can overrule Presidential EO but it is non binding until adjudicated in the SCOTUS.

Yes, the US Constitution had many, many flaws that have been exploited by the left for 2 centuries.

Too many Judges that don’t agree? No problem, do what FDR did, add a couple more.

They can. It is referred to as the appellate system.

By insisting no one on the bench is compromised he is demonstrating the extent to which he is compromised.

Roberts is giving cover to some very bad future judicial decisions.

Trump will need to issue EOs for the military and some leftist judge will try to stop him. Then, they can point to the Roberts doctrine of absolute judicial supremacy (tyranny).

Roberts is a globalist judge.

Now R/B/G is stuck in a time warp........having to pretend she’s up for the taxing job of a USSC judge.

Good things come to those who wait. LOL What a world . .

Roberts was nominated by a Bush and Roberts has the same politics of a
Bush... only critical of his own party. HW, Jeb!, and W have all come out against Trump. Their power to lord over the Republican Party is more
Important to them than keeping America constitutional.

“Some Trump appointed judges are squishes picked by their senators, plain and simple. “

Just where do you get your information? From what I have seen, Trump is using Heritage Foundation and other NGOs to form his lists of nominees. The CA Senators are pissing and moaning that he didn’t consult them with his nominee to the Ninth Circuit recently. Trump is not “honoring” the “blue slip” process at all!

“R/B/G made a whopper of an error.........not retiring when Obama could have named her leftist successor.”

Liz, it’s more than that, she’s an arrogant Marxist. And don’t forget Breyer too. That old Capo is 80, also long past time when he should have vacated his seat. But now, they’ve blown any opportunity to keep any semblance of Marxism on the SCOTUS. Whether they allow themselves to die on the job or resign now, it doesn’t matter. Personally, I think that when the first of these two go, the other will follow immediately, knowing that any hope of maintaining a “liberal” corner on the SCOTUS is gone. Trump will be President for two terms. Neither of them will out live that metric. Furthermore, Sotomayor won’t last either what with serious Type 1 Diabetes. We need to focus on replacing Thomas who will, hopefully, not pull a RBG and decide to stay on. I will lay you odds that when Trump finally leaves office, the SCOTUS will be 8-1 Conservative. His greatest contribution to our country! The icing on the cake would be for Trump to get to replace Roberts.

True but, from the POV of the judiciary, irrelevant. No court wants to admit that any other court is biased - for the simple reason that such admission delegitimates the judiciary as a whole.

The most famous example of what I’m talking about is the Bush v. Gore decision. The Supreme Court of Florida was putting its thumb on the scales to give Florida’s electoral votes to Gore, and the SCOTUS majority knew it. But that is not what the majority’s decision said.

The SCOTUS majority bent itself into a pretzel to get the right result without stating that the Supreme Court of Florida was acting corruptly. And concluded by saying that no one should ever cite that pretzel - the Bush v. Gore decision - as precedent in any argument before any court.

It is no accident, comrades, that the journalism Establishment behaves similarly - just as all judges claim that all judges are objective, in the telling of any journalist all journalists in good standing with the Establishment are objective. And if you are not in good standing with the Establishment, why then you are “not a journalist, not objective."

. . . and indicating that the journalistic Establishment itself is not objective is the surest way to not be in good standing with the Establishment.

“HW, Jeb!, and W have all come out against Trump.”

Conservatives have voted for the Bushes in general elections because they were the lesser of evils, and hoping they would govern as conservatives.

The Bushes are not conservatives. They are New England patriarchs. Not as bad as a communist, but pretty weak. Still rankles how HW resigned his “lifetime” membership in the NRA over nothing. He got stampeded by the media and “had to do it.”

And his backtracking on "read my lips."

And who can forget Jeb cozying up to Hillary and giving her an award for some supposed greatness. Weak is the only charitable word to describe it.
